We’re delighted that you’re considering The Little Boat Nursery for your child. Our family-run, nurturing environment offers high-quality early years care for children aged 5 months – 5 years. This page will guide you through our enrolment process, session options, funding, and fees.
How to Enrol
Book a Tour
Schedule a visit to see our nursery, meet the team, and explore our rooms.
Complete a Registration Form
Fill out our secure online form with your child’s details, medical information, and emergency contacts
Confirm Your Place
Once your application is processed, we’ll confirm your child’s place and provide an enrolment pack with policies and procedures.
Pay Deposit / First Payment
A deposit secures your child’s place (refundable against notice period).
What we offer
Session Options
We offer flexible sessions to suit families’ needs:

Full-Day Care: 8:00am – 18:00pm

Morning Sessions: 8:00am-12pm

Afternoon Sessions: 13:00-6:00pm

Early Drop-Off / Late Pick-Up: Additional flexibility for working parents
All sessions are carefully planned in line with EYFS 2025, ensuring a balance of play, learning, and rest.
Fees & Payment

Daily Rate: please contact our nursery for our rates

Additional Hours / Early Drop-Off / Late Pick-Up: Charged separately

Meals & Consumables: Included in the daily fees (exc. funded places. Parents provide nappies)

Funded Places: 15 or 30-hour government funding available, term-time only (38 weeks)
Fees are reviewed annually. Payment methods include bank transfer.
Funded Childcare

We accept 15-hour and 30-hour funded places for eligible families.

Funded hours are offered on a term-time basis, with additional days available at standard rates.

Parents pay for meals, consumables, and any extra activities.
We provide guidance and support to help you claim your funded hours correctly.
What to Bring

Change of clothes and nappies (if applicable)

Any personal comfort items (dummy, blanket, etc.)
All items should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.
